The history of this place is fascinating, dating back nearly 1000 years! We particularly enjoyed the delicious breakfast options. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and it's evident that the staff is dedicated to making guests feel special.

My kids wished for more activities tailored for younger guests.

The Garden Room Double was pleasant but felt somewhat small and lacked character, turning it into more of a basic accommodation than a cozy retreat. Breakfast could use some serious revamping—first day was chaotic with shortages on the buffet and long waits for toast, which could've been managed better. the communication hiccup regarding dinner reservations left a sour note for what should've been a smooth stay.

I loved staying in the garden room. the bed was super comfy and the bathroom had a great walk-in shower with lovely Elmo’s toiletries. I also enjoyed relaxing in the charming courtyard garden and the beautiful lounge area. The only little hiccup was the bright emergency exit light in the room, but I get it’s for safety. 👍

Had a lovely night stay. The bed was super comfy, and the bathroom had this awesome roll-top bath. Breakfast was on point with fresh orange juice and a tasty poached egg. Just wish the room had a lift since carrying bags upstairs was a bit of a drag. But overall, I really enjoyed the vibe!

During my recent stay, I really appreciated the serene atmosphere and the lovely garden room, which provided a perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle. The location was excellent, with quick access to local attractions that I was eager to explore, such as the stunning Longstock Water Gardens.

We stayed in the Hayloft Suite and it was huge! The bed was super comfy with luxurious linens. The decor was stunning and very modern. We loved the little touches like bath salts and complimentary snacks. Seriously, it felt so cozy and inviting with everything you could need right there. A great spot to unwind.
